Discover a hidden gem in northern Iceland: the Trollaskagi Peninsula, a place much less visited and yet offers stunning landscapes!
Iceland, without a doubt, is a magical country. We will travel to the Troll peninsula “Tröllaskagi”, very close to the small town of Akureyri, to enjoy a few days of adventure accompanied by yoga classes. The Tröllaskagi peninsula is full of mountains, deep valleys and some glaciers. It has been easily accessible since the 70s. But it has really started to become popular recently, thanks to its natural treasures and small typical Icelandic towns, in addition to the many places it has for hiking, and its exuberant beauty. From the peaks surrounded by fjords we will descend to the seashore to end the day enjoying relaxing baths in hot springs.
In addition, we will visit Reykjavik, Golden Circle, the northern capital -Akureyri, the Godafoss Waterfall, the Lake Myvatn area, the Namafjall fumaroles and the wonderful northern towns such as Siglufjördur, Ólafsjördur and Dalvik.
YOGA & RECONNECTION
Come and live an authentic and alternative trip accompanied by your coordi-yogi and being part of a small group of travelers (maximum 8 people) who, like you, do not understand traveling without integrating in the essence of destiny.
We will live like the combination of “traveling doing yoga”. The yoga sessions will focus on activating us to start the day with more energy to face the day and relax after a day full of activities.
The trip is for all types of people, with or without experience in yoga, who want to discover this wonderful island in a more authentic way. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t practiced yoga before, this trip is a perfect excuse to get started. If you are a yoga regular, you will love the experience of continuing to practice it while traveling in unique enclaves and places or simply if what you are looking for is to relax, recharge your energy and enjoy “another Iceland” with people who vibrate like you. .
We will also bathe in pools, rivers and waterfalls in magical and wild places. The cold in itself is already super powerful but if we combine this with a magical environment and the support of a group of wonderful people motivated to improve themselves, these experiences are ones that can change our lives.

Option 1: Golden Circle: Without a doubt the most popular set of visits on the island. Here we will know three essential places:
Geysir, the famous water fountain that has given its name to all the geysers in the world, is currently dormant. But next to him we will see his “brother” Strokkur, who emanates with all his strength every few minutes and that we can enjoy several times during our visit;
Gullfoss or the “Golden Waterfall”, one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland thanks to its fabulous waterfalls that reach 32 meters high; and finally,
Thingvellir National Park (þingvellir), home of the first Icelandic Parliament, where we can observe the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
We continue the trip to Reykjavik where we will spend the night. Arrival in the capital around 6:00 p.m. Reykjavík is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe and the Icelandic nightlife is famous for having many places to have a drink in a very pleasant atmosphere.
Option 2: Reykjanes Peninsula
We will visit two places of high geothermal activity. Between the lava fields and geothermal hot spots, we’ll really get a sense of how alive this young area of Iceland is. The Reykjanes Peninsula or Reykjanesskagi, is a small volcanic peninsula a few kilometers from Keflavík, the international airport of Iceland, and which many travelers forget about during their trip to Iceland.
Arrival in Reykjavik around 5:00 p.m.
After breakfast, the guide will meet the group at the hotel reception. We begin our route heading north. Along the way we will visit the Grátrók crater and we will be able to make a simple climb to its summit, from where we will contemplate the interior of the crater and the lava field it created. We will continue along the famous Ring Road and a few kilometers we turn off to visit a Kolugljúfur Canyon, a gorge in the Víðidalsá River, a large salmon river that runs through the Víðidalur Valley. We continue our path and in an hour we will find the landscape of snow-capped mountains, with different shapes and different aspects, that surround us the entire way. At the end of the day we will arrive at Akureyri, the so-called “capital of the North” where we will have the afternoon to visit the city.

Today we will head towards the Tröllaskagi peninsula or Trolls Peninsula. Previously we will visit one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland, Godafoss or “Waterfall of the Gods”.
