Trekking in the Scottish Highlands is an adventure icon considered one of the most exotic and mythical walking journeys in the world. The Trossachs National Park is one of those places in the world that amazes with its corners of natural beauty. Inside, lakes, mountains and rivers compete with castles, palaces and towns. A must-see destination on our visit to Scotland and easily accessible due to its proximity to the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. The National Park surrounding this park functioned as a border between the Highlands and the Lowlands, and as a consequence it is one of the places where the most castles are concentrated. We will visit the upper part of the country, where the highest mountains of the National Park are located and landscapes as spectacular as the Dochart waterfalls and inhabited by the majestic golden eagles and wild red deer.
We will also visit Stirling, the beauty of the Scottish capital whose history of this country is not understood without this charming town. In the Middle Ages it was nicknamed “the door to the Highlands”, anyone who had to go to the Highlands or Lowlands would have have to go through Stirling.
