The Mischabel massif is the massif of the Pennine or Valais Alps in Switzerland. It forms the border between the Zermatt Valley and the Saas Valley (Saastal). It extends from the Allalinhorn (4027 m) above SaasFee, i.e. to the Grächen ski area.
It has eleven peaks over 4000 meters high, including the Dom, which is the highest mountain located entirely in Swiss territory. The Mischabel Alps are an ideal place to practice mountain skiing and enjoy fabulous descents of different difficulties.
This fabulous program is designed for skiers with previous experience in mountain skiing who want to make the most of every day of the crossing and enjoy good descents from its 4000 miles.

The trip will last 7 days
From 4 to 6 people.
The accommodations are Hotels and Mountain Refuges on a Half Board basis.
A good technical level is required with touring skis sufficient to face slopes of up to 35 degrees and all types of untreated snow.
Good physical condition to face slopes of up to 1,400 meters positive and descents of up to 2,000 meters, with touring skis.

Thermal underwear (recanvis for several days)
Long-sleeved thin fleece-type layer.
Warm layer such as thick fleece or primaloft or down.

Inside the backpack: Personal documentation. (in a waterproof bag), 1 water container of at least 1 liter, 1 thermos for hot tea. (optional)
Individual mini-kit: sun cream, lipstick, plasters + “double skin” (2nd skin), paracetamol tablets, eye drops, throat lozenges, balls for ears, personal medications.

Some sack sheets are mandatory.

Climbing or rando harness
Backpack with a capacity of 35-50 liters. For greater comfort it should have a lumbar belt, side ski rack and an ice ax holder.
Touring skis. With revised tails and edges and fixations regulated to the boots weight and height of the skier.
Self-adhesive seal skins, cut to the size of the skis to be used.
Snow blades, adapted to the bindings and skis.
Ski poles with wide rosettes for deep snow.
A pair of ski touring boots with a removable inner liner and Vibram sole.
Automatic or semi-automatic crampons, fitted to boots.
Lightweight ice axe.
