For any mountain skier considering a multi-day route in the Alps, the dream destination is clear, the Chamonix – Zermatt route. This route, perhaps the most famous in the entire world, runs through the places where this sport was born, the cities that today represent the spearhead of mountaineering, skiing, snow, and mountains. For a week we will explore the best alpine snow and the best refuges while we travel the distance between what are undoubtedly the two capitals par excellence of the mountain world. From Chamonix in France to Zermatt in Switzerland, all with the beauty of the most attractive peaks of the Alps, from Mont Blanc in Chamonix to Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn in Zermatt, passing high hills, large cracked platforms and even some abseiling. . This route, without having an extremely high level of difficulty, should not be underestimated either; it will require great physical fitness, mastery of basic alpine technical conditions and of course a high level of skiing.
The trip will last 8 days with 6 complete days of crossing between Chamonix and Zermatt
From 4 to 6 people per Guide.
Accommodation in the valley will be in a Hotel on a Half Board basis. On crossing days, accommodation will be in high altitude shelters on a half-board basis (sleeping, breakfast and dinner). There is the possibility of having a picnic for the meal of the day (optional)
High level. A good level is required with touring skis sufficient to face slopes of up to 35 degrees and untreated snow or virgin snow. The participant will be in good physical condition to face slopes greater than 1,000 meters with touring skis and will be able to independently descend long descents in virgin or untreated snow.

➢ Thermal underwear, tights and t-shirt
➢ Thin fleece lining
➢ Light or thick jacket (depending on the temperatures at the time) made of feathers or
similar fiber.

➢ Gloves 2 pairs, 1 thin and the other thick. If you are very cold, bring mittens.

Trient Refuge (3,170 m) – Col des Encandies (2,793 m technical pass that requires a rope and the use of crampons to secure this short but entertaining pass) – Champex (1,450 m) – Transfer by taxi to Verbier (25 minutes) and climb with the cable car to the Coll des Gentianes and ascent to the Col de Choux (2,940 meters) Col de Momin (3,015 meters) and descent until reaching the Plafeuri refuge at 2,657 meters

Negative slope: 2,000 meters (downhill…)
