The trip that we present to you in the Norwegian Fjords is without a doubt an intense experience full of maximum splendor due to the great arctic landscapes that surround our activities. At Manaslu Adventures we wanted you to live a week with the most genuine activities in the impressive Norwegian fjords. We will enter Stavanger, the gateway to the impressive Preikestolen mountain and viewpoint from where you can admire what awaits you during the intense week in Norway. This natural accident is one of the most beautiful and impressive in the world. On this trip we will sleep in hotels in Stavanger, Bergen and Haugesund.
The rhythm is calm, but continuous. The excursions in general are short and along defined paths, with little gradient and at low altitude. You walk carrying only your small backpack with personal effects. General luggage is transported by other means. The level is easy and accessible.

Arrival at Stavanger airport and transfer to the center. We will have the afternoon free to explore the city. It is advisable to walk through the old part full of beautiful wooden houses from the 19th century.
Likewise, a visit to the cathedral (the oldest in Norway) and the Petroleum Museum is recommended.
After a good breakfast, we will leave early to begin our march towards Preikestolen. If necessary, crampons will be provided to ascend. Once we reach the top of Preikestolen, we can enjoy the majestic views of the Lysefjord. In the afternoon we will head to Bergen.
Breakfast. Free morning to explore the city. Bergen, known as the gateway to the fjords, is the second largest city in Norway. A must-see is its famous Bryggen neighborhood, a group of picturesque wooden houses facing the sea declared a World Heritage Site in 1979. We also cannot miss the funicular ride to Fløyen Mountain, one of the seven mountains that surround Bergen. From the top you can see spectacular panoramic views of the city. At midday we will get on the train to Flåm. The last part of the journey coincides with the famous train of the same name, considered one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. The route runs through a spectacular landscape. mountainous dotted with waterfalls and steep slopes, configuring a typically Norwegian image. Upon arrival we will enjoy a Viking dinner consisting of different dishes and local beers.
Arrival in Haugesund. Free afternoon and night in Haugesund.
After a hearty breakfast in the morning upon arrival in Flåm, we will take an unforgettable speedboat excursion through the Nærøy Fjord, one of the only two Norwegian fjords declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In it we will head to our next accommodation.
Breakfast. An unforgettable adventure awaits us this morning. We will enjoy a unique experience traveling through beautiful snowy landscapes on a dog sled. The walk has an estimated duration between 45-60 minutes (depending on weather conditions). After that, we will visit the center where the dogs live and we will learn more about the Siberian Usky and the figure of the mushers.
After a good breakfast we head to the Ice Caves and take a spectacular snowshoe excursion through Nigardsbreen, a glacial arm that forms the Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in continental Europe. If conditions allow, we will walk under the ice to admire the impressive caves that form beneath the surface. Every year the situation is different. Sometimes we can find large caves, other years the caves are smaller or we may even only be able to touch the ice from the outside.
Breakfast. Early in the morning we will board a boat heading to Bergen. We will tour almost the entire Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway and the second largest in the world. Throughout the journey we will enjoy the majestic landscapes that flank the fjord. With its impressive mountains, waterfalls, and characteristic towns on the shores of the fjord. Arrival in Bergen around noon. We will have the rest of the day free to continue exploring the city.
