Impressive tour in the Swiss Alps at more than 4,000 meters high. We will take a large circular route to return to the point of origin. The Bernese Alps are a mountain range located in the western part of the Swiss Alps, south of the canton of Bern. Although their name suggests that they are located only in the canton of Bern (more precisely in the Bernese Oberland), the Bernese Alps also extend through the cantons of Vaud, Freiburg, Valais, Uri, Nidwalden and Lucerne.
With this ski touring route through the Bernese Oberland, you will discover mountains that lie between the cantons of Valais and Bern. It is an extensive massif where its peaks stand out both for their height and for their mountaineering renown. Names such as Eiger, Junfrau, Finsteraarhorn attract the attention of anyone who knows its history. We will travel through the largest and deepest glaciers in continental Europe and all of this supported by a phenomenal network of refuges that will allow us to take breaks with all the comforts to rest from the impressive stages that make up this great Swiss route.
