Don’t miss this obligatory date for all mountain lovers. Txindoki (1346 m) is located in the heart of the Aralar Natural Park and is a place of legends from Basque mythology. Its spectacular profile gives it one of the many nicknames it has, the Cervino Vasco.
Emblematic summit of the Guipuzcoan goiherri that we will reach through its ridge, perfect for enjoying this exciting mountain modality. It is fully equipped in its seven lengths and its 350m. An aerial route that alternates climbing, climbing and descents to reach the summit.
We will go up the normal path to Txindoki until we find a metal gate right where a pine forest begins (30-40 min depending on the pace of the climb). After a demanding climb, you have to go around the first rock on the ridge on the left to reach the Amezti pass (30 min). From here, with a short climb, you will reach the base of the ridge. An easy climbing route on a 1.6 km ridge. The difficulty to overcome is around grade IV+.
To descend, you will walk down the normal path that goes up to Txindoki.
