The technical and physical difficulty rating of all activities is medium< span style=”font-weight: 400;”>. At Manaslu Adventures we want you to know that it is advisable to be familiar with the bicycle routes and be in good physical condition.
The following material is essential that you take with you. Remember that if you have to buy, think about the lightness and quality of the material because you will have to carry everything in your backpack. It is a journey and we do not repeat hotels. For this route, therefore, typical biking equipment and clothing is required:
NOTE: Many of the clothes you have can be used to take these trips, it is not necessary to spend large amounts of money. We will be happy to help you with material information.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will leave Marrakech towards the port of Tichka (2260 m), the highest road pass in Morocco. Grand panoramic landscapes with oak forests, pine trees and beautiful perched Berber villages
on the cliffs, protected from any flood.
After crossing the Tichka pass, we descend into the semi-arid landscape of southern Morocco, continuing towards Skoura (1290 m). We will stop for lunch and prepare the bikes for the afternoon. We will head towards the Skoura palm grove until we reach the Toundoute valley (1539 m) at night, in Ait Ahmed (1800 m) at the beginning of the Elhoute valley.
After breakfast, we will leave on a VTT route through the Valley of the Roses following an incredible path to reach Agouti lfougani and we will continue through Almdoune admiring a beautiful view of the
Mgoun peak, which is part of the Central High Atlas with 4078 m altitude, classified as the second peak after Toubkal.
We will cross several cultivation terraces such as corn, barley or rose bushes along the Mgoun River and the Valley of Roses. We will pause for lunch in the shade in the heart of the valley and continue through the valley with a change of landscape, arid and dry, until we reach the green valley of Dadès Ait Youl, climbing the gorges to reach the town of Ait Youl.
After breakfast, we will leave this valley with its beautiful kasbahs and gorges to return along the same path to the city of Boumalne.
We will continue along the Tagdilte plateau at the foot of Jebel Saghro. We will take a break for lunch and then continue through the Tazazerte pass (2250 m), where we can see a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Saghro massif, with the possibility of meeting nomads from the Ait Aattas tribe. We will descend towards Bab n’Ali, a magical place that is really worth visiting.
After breakfast, we will leave on the Dousdidne valley track, an authentic valley with impressive nomadic villages of the Ait Atta. We will continue towards the village of Nkob, a meeting point and commercial center for the nomads of the Saghro and the inhabitants of the Tamsahlte valley.
We will pause for lunch and continue the route through a desert plain to reach the Drâa valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco, traveling through the valley and admiring the oases and ksours to finally reach the town of Tansikhte.
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to take the VTT tour from Tansikhte to Agdez. When finished, we will move to Marrakech. You can also leave in the morning to enjoy the afternoon in Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport to return home.

Morocco’s climate is typical Mediterranean. In the interior area the climate is hotter, reaching over 40º, although at night, especially in the desert, the temperature drops considerably.
